Elamakkara Samuhya Kshema Co-operative Society Ltd No E 1186 started functioning on a memorable and auspicious day on 12-12-12. The Society was began with a paid up share capital of Rs. 15 lakhs. The main objective of the Society is to implement social welfare activities and to address health care requirements of the downtrodden and upliftment of the Society along with providing quality banking products and services. The Society had made significant progress over the last 5 years. The Society created history by giving dividend to its members after 3 years.Within a short span of 5 years the Society had implemented several projects in health care sector for helping the poor and marginalized class. The main social welfare activities undertaken by the Society are listed below.

>> Ambulance service to the needy people with minimum fare.
>> Neethi medical store for supply of medicines with a discount of 15% to 60%
>> A modern clinical lab (Samuhya Diagnostic Centre) where the clinical tests are done at 40% discount
>> Dialysis centre (Samuhya Dialysis Centre) where all the facilities offered at 50% discount.

The Society is also giving treatment assistance, to its members who are suffering from chronic diseases. The Society is functioning as Class-1 in Miscellaneous category. The Society was awarded with ISO 9001:2015 certification for its excellence in banking.
